See if you can catch the ball when I throw it to you. Try not to drop it.
Notes
If I throw the ball to you, I want you to catch it. However if I throw a ball at you, I'm trying to hit you!
In a game of football, you can't touch the ball, but you can kick it, head it or pass it:
I'm sure he was trying to kick me and not the ball. He's a really dirty player!
Gabriel jumped above all the other players and headed the ball past the goalkeeper into the net.
He's a really greedy player. He never passes the ball!
